Our approach
We focus on the body as a whole providing a wide scope of oral care. The mouth is the gateway to our body. Your mouth is home to roughly 800-1000 different types of bacteria. Although this may sound scary, most bacteria are harmless and the ones that cause cavity and gum disease are opportunistic - meaning, when they are left unchecked, they will flourish.
At Ocoee Dental Care, it is our passion to provide comprehensive care to all ages, genders, and sexual orientations. Our holistic examination will determine if dental problems are caused by personal habits, diet, stress, salivary flow, viral diseases or underlining systemic diseases.
We take pride in the work that we do. Our staff has gone through many hours of continuous education. Though we are a general dental practice, we understand that going to different offices for specialty work can be a burden. For this reason, we are trained and equipped to provide most procedures in the dental field including molar root canals, the removal of impacted wisdom teeth, and implant placements.

W * O * W ! Dr. Ta is phenomenal. I was at a chain dentist for a couple years and had a terrible experience, so I really wanted to find a place where my dentist actually seemed like he cares about me and doesn't just view me as a number. I also like the idea that my dentist is really my dentist. What I mean is Dr. Ta is so capable. He can do it all. He can pull Wisdom Teeth, do Implants, Root Canals, Veneers.. all of it, not just fillings and cleanings. I used to go to a dentist that sent me out to specialists. I had to wait weeks (in pain!!! dental pain is so bad) and go to someone I was not comfortable with. Dr. Ta is very gentle and I am so comfortable with him, I do not want to go to anyone else. I TRUST him and would highly recommend him to you.

meet Dr. An Ta

Dr. Ta grew up in a small college town called Davis in California. He spent a lot of this youth volunteering in the community. He wrestled in high school and raised pigs in the FFA. Dentistry was not his first career choice. He wanted to be a field biologist and research bacteria. His love for the micro world led him to pursue a bachelor's in microbiology and later work for a biotech company researching diatoms as an alternative energy source.
